The Montague SwissBike X70 is a bike that will be sure to keep the adventurer out on the trails. This bike is well-built to tackle rugged mountains and hidden dirt paths. The X70 has 30-speeds and features a Clix compatible SR Suntour XCR suspension fork. Like all SwissBikes, the X70 is designed to fit on the bus or train, and easily fit in your car trunk or boat.
“I am a heavy rider at 6’2″ 258lbs and was worried that a folding bike might not be very solid. I wanted a bike for fitness riding around NYC to supplement my jogging and gym routine. A mountain bike seemed like a good idea for some of the roads. The Montague Swissbike caught my interest because of the way it folds around the seatpost (i.e. no breaks in the tubes unlike the Dahon bikes). I read the reviews, purchased one, and am happy to report that it is a rock solid bike with NO compromises caused by the folding feature. It is as solid and rigid as any non-folding bike I have ridden, yet I can fold it up and keep it in my closet (I live in a NYC apartment). It is really a super nice bike that I can recommend without reservation.”CTX
CLIX Folding System
Clever integration of the patented CLIX System allows for the X70 to be folded in under 20 seconds without the use of tools. A flip of the CLIX quick release lever on the top tube and the bike folds to a compact size.
Folding Integrated Technology
The SwissBike X70 frame is designed around a patented folding system. This design eliminates the need to break the frame in order to fold the bike. Not only does this make folding easier but it makes this bike the strongest folding bike on the market. The Folding Integrated Technology (F.I.T.) is based around frame construction concepts designed for serious full suspension downhill bikes.
The SwissBike X70 features a Clix compatible SR Suntour XCR fork. The XCR offers 100mm travel with lockout and preload adjustment, which will turn your backyard trail into your favorite new place to hang out.
