Montague X70 Folding Bike Reviews:
CTX from New York, New York says:
"I am a heavy rider at 6'2" 258lbs and was worried that a folding bike might not be very solid. I wanted a bike for fitness riding around NYC to supplement my jogging and gym routine. A mountain bike seemed like a good idea for some of the roads. The Montague Swissbike caught my interest because of the way it folds around the seatpost (i.e. no breaks in the tubes unlike the Dahon bikes). I read the reviews, purchased one, and am happy to report that it is a rock solid bike with NO compromises caused by the folding feature. It is as solid and rigid as any non-folding bike I have ridden, yet I can fold it up and keep it in my closet (I live in a NYC apartment). It is really a super nice bike that I can recommend without reservation."
William L. D. says:
"This is my second Montague Folding Bike purchase. About a year ago, I bought the Paratrooper Pro Model, 20" for my son and was impressed with the strong frame, no flex or looseness when locked in the unfolded riding position. I've been an avid bike rider for over 50 years. The Montague X70 is 5th mountain bike I've owned. It exceeds my previous mountain bikes with the smoothest shifting I've experienced and what seems to be the sturdiest frame yet in spite of the folding ability. If you are looking for a folding mountain bike to handle hard climbs and rough surfaces, I think you will be very favorably impressed with the Montague models."
Jerry L. says:
"I purchased the X70 over a couple years ago from Amazon and have used extensively over that period of time. The collapsible frame has proven to be very sturdy as I use it off road mountain biking regularly. I also purchased the storage bag for the bike and it has proved to be very durable and accomplishes exactly what I hoped to. I can collapse the bike when finished using, put inside the vinyl storage bag and store out of site in the house easily. This is an excellent solution for small apartments, or very limited space. All in all very happy with the purchase as a rule !"
sharespy from the United Kingdom says:
"Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great. Great bike for off road and on road. Folds so easily fits into car boot."
