Description
The new 2010 Crosstown is a one of a kind pavement bike that is perfect for practical commuting. It’s an easy to use folding bike offering 7-speeds, 700c tires, and the CLIX™ Wheel Release System. It also features a new invention called the Octagon, a stem that is height-adjustable with just a simple click of a button. This allows the rider to have the handlebars at whatever height feels comfortable. This hybrid commuter comes in 17”, 19”, and 21” frame sizes and offers portability, and an elegant style for a ride that’s sure to attract attention.

Clever integration of the patented CLIX System allows the Crosstown to be folded in under 20 seconds without the use of tools. A flip of the CLIX quick release lever on the top tube and the bike folds to a compact size.
Each bike in our pavement series comes equipped with 700c wheels. This wheel size offers a significantly better ride than 24", 20", or 16" wheels. By keeping it smooth over potholes, and enchancing the handling of the bike, the 700c wheels are ideal over pavement and trails.
The Octagon offers all the benefits of an angle adjustable stem without
shortening “reach” when raised. This unique design allows for handlebar
height to be changed while preserving the way the bike handles and
rides. Also, with the octagonal shape of the post, steering remains
engaged while raising or lowering the stem. For more information on the

Kickstand
We
offer a traditional steel kickstand that attaches to the Montague bike
like a standard kickstand without interfering with the unique folding
feature. $19.95
Folding Pedals
These
pedals reduce the width of the folded bike by 4 inches. While not ideal
for high performance riding, they do serve a purpose for those with
tight space constraints. $34.95
Soft Carrying Case
Montague's
soft-sided bicycle carrying case, made of 420 Denier nylon, provides
great protection at an affordable price. The carrying case features an
inner pocket for the front wheel, a direct mount shoulder strap, two
side handles, double-layered nylon bottom and the heaviest YKK zipper
available. Dimensions: 36"x28"x12". $99.95
Airliner Hardcase
The
Airliner hard case is designed to keep your bicycle safe and secure
during airline travel. Its molded rigid exterior is designed to
withstand the toughest of punishments. A full size piece of convoluted
foam is included to sandwich in between the bicycle's frame and wheels,
keeping your Montague scratch free. Dimensions: 34"x27"x15"
This rugged travel case has four latches (two of which are lockable), four removable casters, and two pairs of suitcase handles for complete ease of moving.
Please note that the Airline Case may not always meet the requirements for standard luggage for all carriers, so there may be an additional charge for traveling with the Airliner Case. Bicycle disassembly is required when using the Airliner Case. $499.95
